My Yoga Classes

My Yoga Classes are carefully planned to ensure a smooth flow through each pose.

Breathing techniques are incorporated into each practise, helping students to mindfully enter each pose and enhance their practice, developing flexibility, mobility, strength, and improving posture.

My classes are typically one hour in length and are varied to suit everyone and each class includes a relaxation section to conclude the practice.

 

I offer four types of classes.  If you are unsure of which class would suit you please get in touch to discuss.

Slow Yoga - This is a slow-paced class that promotes calm and relaxation, suitable for both beginners and experienced yogis.

Strong Flow Yoga - This is a more intense class designed for those with some yoga experience, featuring stronger postures to challenge strength and mobility.

Yoga for Athletes - Tailored specifically for athletes and active individuals, this class is designed to enhance athletic performance, prevent injuries and promote recovery.    It focuses on flexibility, balance, strength, breathing and mental focus.

Yin Yoga - A slower practice that involves holding poses for extended periods, targeting deep connective tissues and providing a relaxing complement to Yang activities like running and cycling.

Cost: ​‘Drop in’ single class £8 per class​​

Group Classes are held at The Pavilion Dance Studio, Ashby School, Range Road, Ashby de-la Zouch.

What to expect

Group classes are 60 minutes, covering warm-up, posture, breathing, and relaxation.

 

Before attending:   

Book online

Complete a health questionnaire for your first class

The class:  

 Arrive 5-10 minutes early

Bring a yoga mat and props if available (spares provided) 

Wear comfortable clothes (no jeans)  

Bring a blanket or warm clothes for relaxation

After the class:

Share feedback with me directly or via Google reviews
